We are pleased to announce the recipients of the 2023 LASA Student Section Paper Award. This year the recipients are Dalton Price and Jacqueline Martínez Cerna.
- Dalton Price is an anthropology doctoral student at Oxford University received the award for his piece, Approaching Venezuelan Migration from the Borderland: Dynamics and Identity in La Guajira, Colombia
- Jacqueline Martínez Cerna is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Spanish & Portuguese at the University of California, Irvine received the award for her piece, La verdad en boca ajena
